The kick-off meeting for the FAUNOS project took place on 27 January 2025 at the ETRA R&D premises in Valencia. The meeting was attended by the four project beneficiaries (ETRA R&D, the Civil Guard, CIFAL-Málaga and CERTH), as well as the Spanish Managing Authority, represented by the Sub-Directorate General for Planning and Management of Infrastructure and Resources for Security (SGPGIMS) of the Ministry of the Interior.
During this meeting, possible scenarios and use cases were discussed in which to apply the tools to be implemented for use by SEPRONA in its investigations into environmental crimes. The solution, which is an adaptation of the results of the PERIVALLON project, will be validated for final adoption in real operational contexts.
